I bought this to label a set of discs that I ordered that contained all the games from the Dodgers/Twins World Series back in 1965. They came in simple sleeves without labels and the discs were to be a gift for someone. The hardest part was finding images to use. The making of the labels was very easy. Blanks went into my printer easily, the software was well documented and easy to use and there was a jig to use to make applying the labels really simple and precise. Overall the labeling of the discs, using this Memorex Label Maker went really well. This is a great starter kit for making basic labels.

Works with PC only and not Macs. My OS that I'm using it with is Windows Vista Home Premium. I mainly bought it to print labels for DVD media. After installing the software and giving it a test run, the printing was a little offset. It gives you simple instructions on how to calibrate it though, and my second try was on point. Fairly simple to use as far as setting up what design and font you want to print to the label. Adequate amount of designs to choose from too.

Especially for a starter kit. I am sure there is a way to print your own design to it too. I just haven't messed with it enough to know just yet. The label applicator was easy to figure.
